This position is a team member requiring a cooperative manner, working under direct supervision. Work situations are basically routine in nature yet require a service-oriented individual, organization of time and equipment, independent decision making in the execution of daily routine duties, and prioritization of multiple tasks. Internal contacts occur on a daily basis and may include patient care providers and Materials Management staff. External contacts are limited but may include patients, vendors, rental companies/agencies, other health care facilities, and physicians.Minimum Requirements:One year related experience preferred Education/Licenses/Certifications:High School graduate or equivalent preferredCompletion of Central Service Technician course of study or completion of healthcare organization training programCentral Service Certification or commitment to obtain within one year of hire, as required by location Shift: 8 hour evening shifts.
